Is it time to stop asking:
“Am I doing enough?”
And start living from:
“What wants to happen here?”
Letting what wants to happen occur is not passivity.
It is a partnership with life.
It is alignment between you and your world.
It is changing your focus from micro to macro.
Maybe it means you stop adding effort
where attunement would work better.
This could mean you approach your friendships differently.
Or your career.
Or a life-long project or hobby.
Where could you end up if you make this deeper shift?
What would happen if you just sat peacefully for a bit?
What wants to happen here?
Spring is for new beginnings.
Summer is for adventure and abundance.
Autumn is for harvest and celebration.
Winter is for rest & recharge.
What season are you in?
(Please ignore the storm raging outside.)
What is it time to do… or not do?
I go down to the shore in the morning
and depending on the hour the waves
are rolling in or moving out,
and I say, oh, I am miserable,
what shall—
what should I do? And the sea says
in its lovely voice:
Excuse me, I have work to do.

Nature operates on its own essential cycle.
Nature is steadfast and reliable and lovely.
Nature holds our answers.
We are part of nature.
And nature is part of us.
